Same story as me, 14 years and still waiting. Actually Paul is the one who recommended me to place an order from Searing..:sorry: He did replied my email occassionally saying I'm 5th on the list but that seen forever...

I bought a cue from mike capone in 2004 at the us open for a grand, could have may a small profit quite a few times. I still have the cue if that tells u anything.

I don't know that his cues will ever be considered collectable but John Bender makes and extremely nice playing cue. I have had two one he had made that I purchased and one I had him build me, I sold the one he built me to fiancé a cue I'd been waiting for. I am getting older and am depleting my high dollar cue but I would rate John's cues as playing with anyone's and his work is also top notch.
