I've seen some pretty bad ones out there myself, personally.

I'd have to say... ME!!! (I'm the worst Filipino player I know to)

:p :p

Oh.. you know better than that Hilary... You know it's me. I'm still waiting for someone to give me the 6 for christ sake!

I've sold out the last three balls from the break more times than Kevin Tredeau has sold books! ;)

Just wondering where that came from...

Per the UPA, he's ranked 51, but Mike Siegel is ranked 68th, and Blackjack Sapolis is 98th.

Cheers!

It would be my guess that Fast Larry has played way more UPA tournaments than Mike Sigel and Blackjack. I am just going by what I see on this forum and other forums. In one forum everyone is saying that he hasn't ever gotten past the 2nd round.

Apparently the rankings go up and down frequently. That ranking is of the "UPA Final 2005 Calendar Ranking", and since then, I read on another forum that those rankings were updated to include the Valley Forge 3/06 Tournament, which now lists FL at 35th.

Whatever people are saying about him never getting past the second round, I guess rankings are just that: rankings.

I am guessing it depends on how many tour stops a particular player has played. Mike Sigel has only played one or two of them to my recollection, after his long hiatus. I have nothing against Fast Larry, I am just pointing out in a joking manner that he praises his ability ALOT, but he seems to lose his first two matches in every tournament he enters. If he didn't have such of an ego, I couldn't care less, but it is slightly annoying when I read other message boards and he does nothing but praise himself about how he is one of the world's greatest, but has nothing to back up his claims. Over at another forum, people are really having a field day with this guy, and normally I would feel bad for someone in his situation, but if you read his posts you would probably share the same view as me.

In the UPA U don't have to qualify just pay the membership and entry and U R in. Anyone can get points by beating bye and forfeit or going 2 N out. 2 N out gets you like 10 or 20 points. If U play every event and go 2 N out you'll have more points than half the list.

How ever bad Fast Larry may or may not be; I'm sure I still don't want any...
