Who's Your Favorite Player of All Time

Favorite pool player: Earl Strickland, when he gets
in stroke he's like a freight train steamrolling
through the racks.

Favorite Cueist: Ronnie O'Sullivan, by far. He plays
snooker kind of like Earl plays pool.[/QUOTE]

Tap Tap Tap!!! Exactly my choices.

O'Sullivan running a perfect game in snooker in just over 5 minutes was one of the most impressive things I ever saw.So smooth,so natural and so impressive.

Buddy Hall made a comment something along these lines, "If Earl brings out his A game,he's on a different level than anyone else ."

Want to see a mix of spin, power and personality along with a devastating break.....Earl Strickland, the greatest 9 baller of alltime.

So that explains all that 'Woo-Woo' nonsense we see Americans indulging in. I hadn't realised it was a Casey Jones impersonation, not Tourette's. It all makes sense now, in an incredibly naff way.

I can't see it catching on over here though. We were brought up more on Oliver Postgate's 'Ivor The Engine', and running round the table screaming "Good Morning Mr Llewlyn-Jones" just doesn't seen to have the same ring to it somehow.

Two road buddies are my choice ever. Ronnie Allen and Keith McCready. How in the hell are you going to out run that twosome when they pop into your town in 1975? Best one pocket player ever and best bar table player ever. Yea, even, Mike Segal, wanted weight on the bar table. Mind boggling.
