Why Brackets Never Complete?

Is there a reason that when a tourament has brackets up online that they hardly ever update them in a timely manner or complete them when the tournament is over? If streaming tournaments is a way to help pool get mainstream viewers the brackets are part of the stream/ppv. Like box scores are in other sports. Johnnyt

Like anything, it takes someone to do it. There is so much to do that if you can't delegate things out to responsible people things don't get done; it's hard to do everything yourself.

It actually only takes one person at a time. When Mike and I do the live scoring and live brackets at an event we do it all on an Ipad. I take the mornings and early afternoons and Mike comes in and does the late afternoons and evenings.

The only problem is that sometimes tournies run very late and Mike may not get out of a tournament room until 3-4 AM. So you just have to be prepared for long hours if you are really going to keep the brackets current.

At Turning Stone, where I am doing the commentary, Mike actually does it all himself, beginning with the first match each day and staying until the last ball falls.

Ozzy does a bang up job on streaming and updating the brackets to the minute!!! IMHO he's one of the best in the industry :thumbup2:
