Why Does Everyone Hate Cuetec!

Earl told me once, it took him over a year to learn how to play with his Cuetec. I would have called him an 'A' level player back then. How about AAA!

Suppose you played on Cuetec from day 1 and got pretty good and decided to reward yourself by purchasing a "real" cue. I wonder how long it would take to figure it out?

yawn.....

How ironic. I wonder what percentage of Cuetec owners would fit into the "A" level or higher, compared to owners of various other production cues.

Anyway, if you think I'm "a world away" from an "A" player, you should give me major weight against the ghost if the chance ever comes up! I so clearly need it since I am unable to detect the phenomenal playability of the fiberglass-wrapped Cuetec cue. :D

My responses were regarding the topic of this thread," Why do people hate Cuetec cues?".

I never stated that Cuetec cues were phenomenal, but implied they were underrated as far as their playability.

I inferred that people that trashed them were caught up in the hoopla that cues must be expensive, or custom made to be considered playable.

You, my friend, may beat the Ghost, but you get the 6 in a test of comprehension.

my best cuetec story

We were having a few beers at the poolhall and were bored at the poolhall so me and a friedn decided to take it outside. I had a Cuetec and he had a cueball. After i chose my pitch I hit that damn cueball about 200 feet, clear across the street and half way across the Jewel parking lot. And it didn't break!

Nice. Not only did you back peddle on your conclusion that I must not like Cuetec because I suck, but you also have now sunk to ad homonym attacks to make your point. Yes, yawn indeed.

Sure, some people here and there may trash them for the reasons you stated, but you originally said, "most" people, which is what I took issue with. If you pay attention to the posts on this forum, you'll find that there are many people who aren't that way at all, and will freely admit that there are inexpensive production cues that play well.

So keep your 6, buddy; I don't need it. :nanner:

Sweet Marissa's AZB login was HACKED!

That's what she said.

Say WHAT??? Is this the same innocent goody-goody deity-fearing Sweet Marissa the AZB populace have come to know and love? No, it just can't be! "Foul!" I cry! Someone's hacked Sweet Marissa's AZB account and posting innuendos that would make Sweet Marissa herself gasp in horror!

<tee hee!> :D

Sorry, couldn't resist!

I posted this in another thread, but it applies here too:

For all the ragging about how some people don't like the "feel" of Cuetec cues, the Cuetec Thunderbolt produced less squirt in the Platinum robot tests than did the Schon, Lucasi, Joss, Pechauer, Mezz, McDermott, Fury and Viking cues that were tested. (Take that with a grain of salt, each cue is different.)

cuetec burgandy 21oz house cues

hello all, my 1st post. if anyone can get ahold of some 21oz burgandy cuetec house cues, the older ones they had last year without the silver band around them.( as the never ones with the silver band, has a different balance point) i would be willing to purchase a few for a decent price, if there still in good shape, or new. i perfer the balance point further back in the cue, so i dont want the ones with the silver band, that looks like a 2 piece cue.:) thanks

If I was going to purchase a new cue, and my choices were a brand new Meucci, or a brand new Cuetec, I'm buying the Cuetec. Although that probably says more about the quality of a new Meucci than it does the performance of the Cuetec

this makes me mad here i don't like the way that you peope can say that you hate cuetec cues i do own two cuetec cues and to me the cues are a number 1 cue for me to be playing serious pool with allison started in 95 with her partnership wuth them and she loves them and so do i and hope that cuetec sponsors me because like i have said a hundred times before i do not act like earl did when he smashed his cuetec shaft into a million pieces and also i would be a great cue representive for them and i do know that cuetecs are the best cues on the market i go tocuetec.com everyday the new cues are the r360 cues and i will hope to get my new cuetec r360 cue before the natural brown points cue is the one i like and theres a cue in the python series thar looks just like allisons cue has the same design and but it has a python shaft on it but i would put a r360 on it and i do think that for those of you who own a cuetec go with my saying

thanks
cuetec why would anybody play with anything else

:eek::confused: You mean...you're a pro...who plays with a Cuetec...by way of free choice!?! You're not sponsored by them???:rotflmao::lol::rotflmao1:

 Just teasing.

Seriously, good for you. I'm glad that works...you are where you are in your carreer, and you have a lot of hard work, focus, and dedication to thank for it...the only one who should care what cue you use is you-it obviously works well for your style of play, nevermind what anyone else says about it!

And to the person who started this post...if you care so much about what other people think, then follow the natural course of what popular oppinion tells you you should have...which probably won't be a Cuetec.

OR

If you really like Cuetec, and can't see why anyone else doesn't feel the same way you do, well here's your answer: We are all different. It's as simple as that...we may share commonalities, some more than others...but when you break it down, no two people are exactly the same...it's really that simple.

I hope that you can be at peace with that, I wish happiness to all my fellows in the human race...may we all enjoy the game regardless of the equipment we use to play it...we can at least be united in that sense.:)

PS: Travis, maybe I'll draw you at a tourney some time, and you can beat me with your Cuetec cue!:thumbup2:
