why is there background music at Matchroom events?

Many pool events have background music, the TAR matches played music, anything in a casino tends to have the music they play normally.

This is still popular at all STC events.

Turning Stone has always had background music playing, and it’s typically classic rock. No complaints.

was awaiting the sexist bit coming. Not really, It's just that far and away women will be found humming a tune,
dancing to a tune in their head and things like that much more often then men are. I enjoy 'background tunes'
while playing or shooting pool. Fact is when I'm shooting I don't hear it but it is nice between innings.
Usually, it's the first to point something out who is the culprit to move the focus from themselves. chucklin'

The question is why are the seats all empty?

Not joking, Covid is over. I spent 2 of the last 3 months in Europe and it’s more “over” there than America. Yes still lots of people getting sick. I’m not discussing that. That’s another topic.

But why the empty venues?

Stone silence in there would be deafening. Ambient noise playing pool is normal. Not concert loud or night club loud music. But some sort of sound noise audience is better than dead silence 99% of the time while playing pool.

I was in Germany this week, just got home 3 days ago. Seems there would be a few people there by accident.
