Why look at the Object Ball?

Hey larry, is there another one like me who likes IE? haha. What I am learning now is when the english OE or IE is going to check or going to run.

I believe the reason it is preferable to look at the object ball is because a small aiming error on the object ball will be just that, a small error; but a small aiming error on the cue ball will be magnified by the time the cue ball reaches the object ball. The longer the distance between the cue and object balls, the greater an aiming error on the cue ball becomes.
