Why would I shoot better with my one piece house cue?

Growing up my favorite at home was a 15 oz. no name house cue among the ones we had. Played with it so many hours over the years it would drive me nuts if I was at a pool hall or bar trying to find the lightest cue they had. Had friends with nice two piece cues in cases they carried about, didn't like them at all. Two things: I wasn't good enough for it to have made any difference, but . . . the feel made a big difference to me.

Some players buy the older Valley Supremes house cues converted to two-piece cues. See Mr. Joshua

unless what you use is defective in most sports and especially pool, your equipment is not going to help you much.
the marketers of it get you to believe their newest and best is your salvation. it isnt. and it proves their advertising works as most posts here are about equipment. from gloves, chalk and shafts. and brands of cues.
