That's an intro price. Reg price is 440
I cant afford one right now, but I would consider a Raven if they left the price at $325. $440? No way. $400 is too much IMO. I just dont think it will improve my game enough (or at all) to justify the cost.
I understand the benefits of CF... wont get dents, stable in all weather etc.

I have an OB cf and just acquired a Whyte cf. I believe they are the same and possibly the Spartan as well since it uses a similar insert. I like them both but have not used any other brands to compare them with. The inserts seem to be a good design that will hold up well and at $60 an insert that is more reasonable than purchasing a new shaft. Just my observation and opinion.

Lee Brett is the connect. He was running some auctions from Vegas. I have one of the shafts, (I won an auction). I am waiting to get the insert for a radial pin.
He's still around? Last I heard of him 4 or 5 years back he was going off the walls trying to sue Hustler, the porn company.

I just read through their entire site. All the pictures and the video, and the "brochure" look like renders to me. Maybe this is vaporware?

How did you get one of the whyte shafts? I’d like to get one.

Do what works for YOU!
Awww, man! They're not "whyte", they're "black", how unoriginal. False-advertising😁

The idea of not having to buy a new shaft for a different butt sounds nice. But I'm also not a fan of moving/interchangeable parts inside a shaft. What if the insert/adapter loosens with time? Even if it's just slightly, the shaft probabaly becomes unplayable.

Anyone can buy the inserts.

I haven’t heard of them. But they look like decent shafts depending on the price. I’d like to hear some more on them.
I believe they retail for $500 and come with 1 joint adapter. Additional adapters are $70
Who sells Whyte? I've tried contacting a couple times and no answer. I asked some buddies with insider connections and they all say the shafts aren't out yet. Can't find one listed for sale anywhere.
The guy in Wisconsin who runs Cue It Up Network is sponsored by them and has some for sale

Only shaft i'd consider paying that much for is the Mezz. If Mezz made one with a 12.5-12.75 i'd buy one. Best hitting/sounding/feeling of all of them imo. Just don't like the size. Cuetec isn't far behind it.

I believe you can order a Whyte shaft in any diameter. They hit nice and the sound is similar to wood.

I don't like the insert idea. I just see it coming loose/making sounds at some point. I really have no need for it anyway.

Looking for information on the new Whyte Carbon Shafts. Does anyone know who makes them? If you play with this shaft, please tell us more about the shaft.
I know an older pro player who spray paints his carbon fiber shaft white, to assist him in aiming. It’s just a matter of time until you see more available on the market, including the big name CF makers.

They msg'd me back. WC shafts are 549bux. Avail in eight diam's from 11.75 all the way to 13mm. Also four different stiffness levels.

Problem with paint is getting a smooth/non-stick surface.
