Widowmaker 44 cue

A friend picked up a cue with Widowmaker 44 stamped in the butt. I recall this line was built by Greg Hearn (?) for Bert K. While I'm trying to get photos to post, does anyone recall when these cues were built and was each one numbered differently? It's a nice looking cue with fancy rings and nice points and also hits em' nice. Any info will be appreciated while I try to get pictures.
Pictures added so if anyone could offer an approximate value I would appreciate your input.

When Bert was in our area he claimed to make them himself. I found it a little odd that he'd spend all day and night in the pool room and then disappear for a day or 2 and show up with 3-4 new cues that he made. Having said that, I've owned 2 of them and they do play pretty well. If I remember correctly both had numbers on them but I can't recall what they were.

Pictures added (not good pictures but !

Any info as to approximate value will help out a buddy of mine. The red veneers are not wiggly and wavy as they look in the pictures. I'm not a photograper
Thanks

I'm not sure what they are worth - I have a couple of cues made by Greg - 1 which looks a lot like the 1 you have there - except it says Greg Hearn where yours says widowmaker -

he did make a bunch for kinister and he made great hitters which is why Burt was happy to sell them as the "widowmaker" - good luck with yours

if you come up with a dollar amount you want for it hit me with a pm - I keep saying i'm gonna stop buying and start selling but it would be hard to pass on a Hearn -

sadly Greg has moved on to that poolroom in the sky and won't be making anymore

I'm sure you have heard someone say pound for pound he is the greatest fighter in the world about some boxer at 1 time or another

I have heard it said from several sources that dollar for dollar Greg Hearn made as good a playing cue as anyone - and he made some nice looking ones too!

the 1 closet to the status box in my avitar was made by Greg (edit to add that) WWIW

I had a Widowmaker cue awhile back and Bert swore up and down that he had made it, but he obviously didn't. Anyway, they are great playing cues, but value isn't where it should be.

friend of mine in japan used to have a widowmaner cue. it had a built in extension that was really cool. i can't really say what i that cue is worth though
