It is funny that as a newspaper clipping it did not have to be true.
Since it has been on the internet now it is a fact! Strange times
indeed.
Men wore guns but a beating was all they needed.Now beat up
some one at the pool-hall,cops are called .Hope the cops showup
before the person, who got the beating ,returns with a gun!

Why kick ass with his guns when a cue stick has a much better reach?
Also interesting that the hotel had a billiard room in it that apparently was frequented by non-guests of the establishment. I wonder how common public billiard rooms were in hotels in the big cities back then.
