meh... sad enough that I have to manually update the rating. ...On only the one page because they managed to sufficiently write the code for the other...lolYeah JV, don't forget to hit that "Save" button lol![]()

I can update the profile page so the rating is automatically updated like the player page once your Fargo account has been linked.meh... sad enough that I have to manually update the rating. ...On only the one page because they managed to sufficiently write the code for the other...lol
So why is the player page already auto updated, but the profile page not...? You're already linking live data on the player page. Why not just do the same thing on the profile page...?I can update the profile page so the rating is automatically updated like the player page once your Fargo account has been linked.
This issue should now be fixed! So why is the player page already auto updated, but the profile page not...? You're already linking live data on the player page. Why not just do the same thing on the profile page...?
I have zero experience in web design so forgive me if this isn't something as obvious as it seems to be.
Right on...This issue should now be fixed!
Whoa, every time this page gets bumped to the 1st page Mike probably starts to sweat alittle lolRight on...
Great to see the effort toward development / improvement.
Yes! Yes! Yes!My wish list:
- Change default setting so uploaded matches are public. Current default is private. If someone is out to hide their results against specific players then they can adjust the setting. However I'm willing to wager most don't bother making results public because it's simply not on their radar to do so. Not in an effort to hide anything.
- Loose the 'hot/med/mild' race thing and replace with a match calculator that determines the spread that is required to have a positive result on a fix race. Currently you will need to use the "odds" function and adjust the losers score until you see the odds are just not in your favour. That should equate to a positive result for your effort. I see value in dropping in two ratings, adding a race length, and seeing what the outcome according to fargo should be.
- Add a date stamp and rating to the 'Rate Change' graph cursor. Not sure why you have the ability to cursor along the graph line if it doesn't provide you any related data. Storing all the data on a player week by week would be cumbersome, but the graph already exists so why not present the data it's using to plot the line...?
That part is easy.I also have no idea how tournament directors get results into the system. I've been a huge fan of fargorate, and read all of their material on their site and watched most of their videos, but it still escapes me how a tournament director makes that happen. I see the leagues are somehow tied to it, but I mean local tournaments for pool players who wouldn't play in a league if they were paid a million to do it.
Ah, ok. So it’s not an app or anything. It’s a conversation with support to get started. I wish that explanation was on their site. I always felt they focused only on leagues and excluded the weekly and regional events. That part is easy.
Once you have contacted FargoRate team, support email and given details on your tournament, then all they need is table size and a link to the draw.
They use Challonge, Cuescore, Digital Pool and a few others.
Failing that, they have a very simple CSV file for you to fill out so it can be imported.
I have done all this for not for profit associations and private run tournaments.
Yes, the website could do with a lot of updates....Ah, ok. So it’s not an app or anything. It’s a conversation with support to get started. I wish that explanation was on their site. I always felt they focused only on leagues and excluded the weekly and regional events.
You read my mind!!See if we can get anymore updates on this. I see Mike Page starting his own threads on the same old same old on how Fargo is so accurate, posting graphs and charts. How about an update on the app some of us pay for, It's weak on features.

Stop paying for it. From my experience, it's the only surefire way of it either getting better or not being your problem anymore.See if we can get anymore updates on this.
