This is pool related thread cos it is about MP Cup and World 10 Ball 2015 promoter, Manny Paquiao :D
In about 7 hours from now Pacquiao will be fighting Ffloyd Mayweather in Fight of the Century.
IMHO, Pacquiao will upset Mayweather cos he is better and tougher and Mayweather is under lot of pressure to remain undefeated so will not be able to perform.
Who will win? And Why?

Mayweather is bigger, faster, and stronger. Plus, he is the best defensive fighter in all of boxing. Rooting for PacMan, but if Mayweather wants to fight, he wins.

I hate Mayweather, I hope he gets his A_s kicked, but he is a champion and if Pac can pull a draw out of it..., the world would be a better place!
 
I am taking in Fight Night at a pub that sponsors our pool team. Ten bucks.

180 mill for Merryweather, 120 Mill for Manny.

It's a win win for either. I'm rooting for Manny. I will take em both on at once for much less. With any luck, I will eventually come out the Coma and be able to spend it. Probably a little on Cosmetic Surgery and the rest will be all mine.

The funny part is, both fighters have purchased most of the tickets, Millions of dollars worth, for their entourage.

It was said that only 500 actual seats are available. Up to 3 grand for a nose bleed seat.

Ring side, one was over 300K. Some at 150 K.

So the average Joe isn't watching live.

PPV will bring in approx 300 Mill alone, or so it has been estimated.

Either way, I feel this will be an epic fight. You don't or won't soon see one like this one.

It would have been an epic fight if it was 4-5 years ago. Now, not so much.

I know some don't like NPR but if you did, you might be able to pick up a link to a Free Stream tonight.

mayweather. but we all want pacman. floyd is a bad person. through and through, beats his wife and his whole person is materialistic. I wanna see him lose cause i dont like him, but hes smart, he delayed 5 years and waited for manny to become half of what he was. hell never have my respect as a man or boxer, but his talent is exceptional, that can't be denied.

I am in agreement with those who are rooting for Manny; but I don't think he will win. As others have said, I think he would've had a better chance maybe 5 years ago; it seems like Mayweather waited until Manny lost some of his power before he agreed to fight him......My other prediction is that there will be a rematch, if not 2 more....

I watch all the fights on free streams. They're easy to find. Only a sucker would pay $60 or whatever for this fight on PPV.

For sure there will be rematch/sequels. At least 2 so that they can have best of 3. Heck big big money for both so they need more more sequels. After 3 matches, both of them will be half billionaire or more

Mayweather just arrived and he looked scared ..this is the strongest he has ever fought so he is having some confidence issues LOL :D

...the poll has Pacman leading by two over Floyd.

Which shows that pool players are a bunch a sentimental mooches......
....but that's why I love 'em.
 
What a boring affair for a "Match of the Century," and so much for bringing renewed interest back to boxing. GG Floyd for boring everyone to tears with what should certainly be considered perfect defense. But it's the same reason no random spectator would enjoy any part of one pocket.

It's just "wtf I thought this was supposed to be a fight" from me. Glad I didn't pay for it. :dance:
 
that was anti climactic. hate watching floyd fight, i do it to not miss him lose. i guess it wont happen.

i thought Merriweather would knock him out however few Boxers in history were the tactician he is only a purist enjoys that type of fight and it's why MMA is now the king of the hill
The men are great but I love a cat fight so If you have not seen Sara Rousey roll I highly suggest you do she is baaaad to the bone
