Will my Fargo Rating be wrong if I only play weak opponents?

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the purpose of fargorate? Is it just so pros can't play in amateur events?

if there was any scotch played then no, fargo only records individual matches of 8 ball 9 ball and 10 ball singles.

Yes. You have games from both 8-ball and 9-ball team events.
