Will there be any resentment?

Shane is a great player!!!

Lets give credit for what Shane he has done and let him enjoy it! I also tip my hat to Earl for being a true champion and getting in the box knowing he has the worst of it! With that said lets also not forget that Efren Reyes is the greatest pool player on earth and he and his phillipino sharpshooters won't be riding in the back seat for long! ;)

Great post. Shane deserves respect and praise. Not "resentment" posts, or "what kind of underwear does Shane wear" posts. Congratulate him, and dream up other matchups. Leave the cue alone, the 30 game spots alone.

After watching some of the SVB vs EARL match it became obvious how huge SVB's break is.

IMHO the only players that can get there need to have a comparable break.

BUSTA did and I heard GOMEZ also spanks the shit out of them.

Who else?????????????

On topic:

Team USA will welcome SVB with open arms. He may be the ultimate WOMD that the EURO'
s can't neutralize.

Charlie Hillbilly Bryant was doing guest color commentary while at the WPC in Manila, and he commented that he was impressed with how hard Jeff DeLuna broke the balls.

What does that tell you?

Charlie has a hell of a break.... One of the hardest i have ever seen....
But he can't get there playing Shane

I think that Earl & Corey and team USA will be THANKFUL that SVB is on their side!
This stuff about the bad blood and animosity among the pros on the Mosconi Team has been bantered about for years. Over the years, Earl and Charlie Williams had issues over the UPA. Before that, Corey and Earl had issues over Corey's racks. Not just the Camel tour but also in the Master's. I read where John Schmidt and Earl didn't get along real well.
Last year, the pool magazines wrote that Rodney Morris says he's thru with Earl because "he brings me down." In each of these cases, they still won. My point is that not everybody on the Boston Red Sox may have liked everybody else, but they wanted to win bad enough to get the job done. Same thing here. No matter the team's make up, apparently they as a group and as a team wanted to win bad enough to not let any differences they had, real or imagined, destrroy that ultimate goal.
Shane Van Boening is a WINNER and I think who's really upset about our newest member are the guys on the other side of "the pond."

The man was just joshing and trying to point out the coincidence of now how the 3 have to be teammates. Did you not see the smiley and the SVB is the man. If you have nothing nice to say just stay out of it. He meant no harm or was not trying to stir the pot. Besides it is a natural thought as some people are real poor losers. By the sound of your rant I bet your one.

yea no kiddin
