Window cue replacement window

I have a customer who has a very old cue that has a broken clear window. The cue is a probably an import cue and of low dollar value, but my customer has had it since before he served in Vietnam, so you can understand it's sentimental value to him.

I've already removed the broken window, and it's dimensions are:

1.25 O.D”, 0.99” I.D. , 0.55” length (a 1" I.D. will be fine, but it measures just slightly smaller.)

I doubt that I will ever need a full length rod or tube of the material in my lifetime, so I would rather just try to replace the broken window.

Is there anyone who can make this piece and ship it to me at a decent price?

If you can't find anyone to do that for you, a piece of clear acrylic rod is pretty reasonable. Never know, you might eventually build a cue with some in it.

Personally, I love the look of a clear window myself.

I have a couple of links to acrylic rod if you should end up needing to buy
an entire rod.

Originally they used stock rod with a nominal 1" ID. You're right about not needing a full length. I've had a 2' piece for 20 years and it is still 2 feet left. I'll make and send you the piece tomorrow or Thursday for $10 including everything I need your address. Let me know.
