Little big for cues but I would still snag this if I had the room!

Looks like great lathe. With it running on a rotary phase converter you won't just be able to walk over and turn it on. You will have to start the phase converter first and then turn the machine on. So you are burning a lot of electricity even while the lathe is not on once you start the rotary converter. I have to run my large CNC mill with one and they sure use the electricity. I am using American Rotary also, but about twice the size of that one. I have one that size that runs my leather splitter. I run a turret drill with one of the simple phase converter boxes that hang on the wall and it works just fine with no need to turn anything on first. Just turn on the machine and run it like normal. I have a feeling my splitter would have worked with one like that also, but have not tried it.
For $3500, you can a new lathe.
