If SVB wins, then he's going to finish in the top 3 automatic spots for Team USA.

That would give Johan more flexibility with the wild-cards.

Petri is going to be sick. He missed the 8b to win 10-8, then lost the safety battle hill hill.

The miss by Petri is interesting to me. He tried to shoot the 8 along the short rail with inside English at slow speed to hold for the 9b. Probably should have hit it hard and gone up and down the table. I think even for top pros that slow inside spin is tough under pressure!

The matches are listed in draw order so you can tell who is in each bracket. (Unimportant for the semis) The streaming order is according to the best viewing for the audience, maybe.

I don’t mind the order they are actually playing (indeed saving the biggest match for second makes sense).

Yeah and the 9 was close enough to the pocket that he didn't really need risk that for perfect position IMO

Seconded. Everyone calling for SVB's head at Mosconi don't understand that if they cut him out they may as well have my dumb ass out there. I can get my ass kicked with the best of them...

Shane needs help, not to be excluded.

He was WAY too agressive on that last rack. Even if you don't like it, you gotta play the tactical game sometimes. He gave that away.
He's still ridiculously talented and he shoud come back strong after learning from that.

I swear a lot of it is these guys getting in each other's heads. They're all STUPIDLY good. Methinks they think too much.
