I will admit that I am not much on watching women pool, with exception of a select group,ESPN ruined that by showing nothing but women on TV or trick shots that I really don't care for.Nothing against the ladies or trick shot artist. Before stream that was it with exception of a glimpse or two of the men,The reason 4 this post is to bring attention to the people that don't know how much it cost to play a WPBA event,is it just 500$?I heard on stream it cost from 1200 to 1500 per event,I don't know what that consists of,But the point being how can they afford that,I know some are sponsored but damn.I know a woman that will run over most of the American women I have seen play, she had a sponsor that fell through on her after just a couple of events and she posted a 5th place finish out of the gate, among the very best women and getting a mention on ESPN ,I guess what I want to know is it harder for the ladies to play their way to the top than the men?

Entry fee for a WPBA event - $500
The $1500 - $2000 figure you may have heard bandied about on the stream is most likely the general cost to participate including hotel, airfare and daily expenses. Yes, it's not cheap but no more expensive than taking a 5 day vacation somewhere. Since the men don't have "tour stops" to speak of, it's hard to quantify whether or not it's harder for the men or the women to play their way to the top. Although right now, the WPBA only has one other tour stop officially scheduled so all of that may be moot.

Yes everything is harder for women and that is the way they like it.:canoodle::rotflmao1:

Unless the are with their significant other, they can also share room costs or both.
