For the first 3 to 4 weeks he was playing as a 7. Finally Tracy said you can't play anymore unless you play as an 8. He still snapped it off. Don't know why he left. Must have been good extra income for a while. Maybe he got tired of being called "shorts"CocoboloCowboy said:

Bad news Lenny, winning an 8 and under at Kolby's with 32 means next RATING MEETING you are a good bet to be raise to a, 9 congratulations. You forgot to hid you speed.
IMHO Kolby's need a name change to Kolby's TIGHT Pockets Billiards, as there Gold Crowns are real tight...

Lenny, but most likely, they will raise you where you can not win it, that's usually how it goes.
I have heard the Arizona rating system sucks, per a friend of mine, Donnie Brown, who moved back to OKC because of it.
It is one thing to handicap to get participation, but the rating system should not keep raising someone higher and higher till they do not have a chance to win anymore, which many do nowdays. When a handicap system raises someone ABOVE their skill level, the system is flawed.
BTW, who all is playing in a tournament this Super Bowl Weekend. I am playing is a monthly tournament (first Saturday of the month) at Southrock Billiards. 9 ball, 32 players, race to 6, $25 entry fee. $500 added for 32 players, $300 added for 16 players. Calcutta, and 1 day tournament
And I am going to buy some raffle tickets for the $1,000 Shurtz cue they are giving away on Sunday at the Superbowl party. $10 for 4 tickets.
Southrock frequently raffles off Shurtz cues at quite a few of their tournaments during the year, the big ones anyway. Bob Owen get credit too for contributing the cues for this.
