Won my first tournament today

Well not my first, but my first real tournament. One of my goals this year was to win a tournament at my local hall and today I did it. We will not talk about the quantity of people or the fierce competition, because all that was pretty lame. Regardless I played well and crossed one thing off my list of things to do today.

I remember my first. It was about 13 years ago. I was just getting real serious about pool at that time and I will remember that day for the rest of my life Its a major acomplishment for the serious pool player.

After my first, I looked around the room at every player and thought: "Wow, I was the best of all these guys tonight."

What a great feeling.

Quality and competition doesn't matter too much right now. No matter how you slice it, you were the best of X number of players. Period.
