Pau Ferro, Morado or Bolivian Rosewood though it's not a true rosewood.

I would say it looks a lot like this, very waxy and constantly used in the marine industry. Let's call it

Scientific name: Tectona grandis

Or Teak by other names.

It's the poor mans Pau Ferro, most would not know the difference, some Teak even has the darker colored streaks that are associated with Libidibia ferrea. Although the Teak does not have as many of the health risks associated with Rosewoods.

Makes sense but Pau ferro and Morado usually is darker in color whereas examples of santos that I've seen have been light. I have a new cue with very similar golden color and figure to the one shown. I'll take a photo later if I can. The wood came from Gilmer about 8 years ago as santos rosewood.

I had Morado flooring in my previous home. It can range from rather dark to rather light in color.
