Does anybody know what kind of wood was used for this Titlist handle?

Thanks in advance, I'm at the pool hall with all of these wood scientists... I'm sure y'all know how that goes.

Looks like wenge. I'd say 30 percent or more are wenge....it's a cheap hardwood. Not the most desired wood. Still real nice. Worth 200 to 250.

Just saw the Tascarella signature!!

Still wenge but now it's worth 2000 to 2500.

I only look at handle and though you were asking about a 1 piece titlist.

It's wenge or possibly black palm. They are very similiar in color and pattern. A good percentage of Tilists were made with these. Less desirable woods versus Indian rosewood, brazilian rosewood, purple heart and the rarest ebony.

Definately not Indian rosewood.

Shoot, I was going to snatch that up before another appraisal came in :)

I just sold a Brazilian rosewood Titlist here yesterday....475.

I got one I can't identify for sure, but I think it's Padauk. Straight grained reddish brown, it almost glows with finish. Never had one like it and I've had over 20 of all kinds.

Whatever this one is, I think I have one that looks to be of the same stuff.

Thanks everyone, I'll get with Pete to confirm. But whatever the case it is soon to be in my collection.
I was thinking Wenge, but wasn't certain. Here is the whole cue.

And oak, my personal favorite.
