Wood Supplier

I tried some of their shaft blanks several years ago. They were some of the whitest I have had. Having a cuemaker in controll of the drying process is a big plus. I have been buying from the same mill for years but if that source dries up, they would be on my list of new suppliers.

Everyone has a different opinion of what is good shaft wood. I would recommend buying some from them and making your own decisions.
They have been in the business a long time and have a good reputation.
See if you like their wood, and develop a relationship. Your suppliers can make or break you.

Yes I have bought from them. Some of the best shaft wood you will find anywhere.

I agree. Last year he had an estimated 250-300 year old maple log that yielded terrific shaft dowels/ cones with higher GPI. They were not cheap. All the cuemakers that I know that bought were pleased overall (it sold real fast). My experience with Bill have been very good. He's an honorable guy in my book. I also think the shaftwood business is a difficult one. It's easy to find a home for the best. What do you do with the rest?
