Work in progress

This is one of my current works in progress. Something I am building for me most likely. The forearm came from what looked to be an old overseas made cue that was warped. I acquired it from a friend who gave me alot of cues and cue building stuff he did not want anymore. Not sure of the name brand. The veneers and points looked pretty good once I turned the warp out of it, but they are not all even. :( I decided to put a red palm handle on it. Maple and black fiber rings. The points look to be some type of dark rosewood, but I did not have any wood on hand that would match exactly so I put a Cocobolo buttsleeve on it. Phenolic collars and buttcap. 29 inches. I'll probably put a 30 inch shaft on it. Don't know what to call it yet. Bits and pieces cue is what I've come up with so far.

That's a beauty.......... I bet you could sand those points and get them almost even,

Just a curious question, not a knock... why would you go to all the trouble of building a cue with points that are that far off?

Done

Finished it. Plays pretty good.

That cue looks great. I know you really hate the way it plays. Go ahead and ship it to me....lol. Good work though seriously.
