World 14.1 info

Is there a better place to look on the internet for more details on the World 14.1? I mean like hotels, in the area, seating in the poolroom, things like that.

While this is a great forum, no one seems to be posting that is in charge of this tournament here.

Thanks Dennis, do you happen to know anything about the poolroom? Is there a charge to watch?

Will there be bleacher seating, or are we on our own to luck into a stool? I've been to too many of those in my younger years and I couldn't make the trip if chances were I'd be standing all day.

It's a really odd schedule. I can't think of a reason that the tournament would end on a Monday. I think it's Columbus Day but it's still odd to have a Wednesday-Monday event. I think it will hurt ticket sales to have the Semi's and Finals on Monday 10/11.

What do you guys think?

Columbus day is always the second Monday in October. In this case, it falls on October 11th. Second guessing the promoters, having three day weekend instead of the normal two day weekend may make for better for audience turnout.
