World Cup of Pool Updates

Thought I'd start a thread for those wanting to follow the World Cup of Pool as it happens.

It's about $7 to watch it all live, via pool.livesport.tv for those interested.

Stream is hi res, production is world class with commentary, as it's the same as the content being broadcast on Sky Sports in the UK.

Korea leading an ordinary Malaysian team 3-0 in the first of 3 matches in the afternoon session.

Perhaps someone in the US can convert start times to US zone equivalents.

In Australia, the arvo session is 9.30pm and evening session starts at 3.30am. (More late nights for me)

Malaysia mounting a monumentous comeback, now at 3-5 courtesy of 3 bad fouls from Korea.

I thought Korea had some decent pool talent. Kim Ga Young could give these guys the Orange Crush.

I think it's Ted Lerner who gave the highlight of this match saying "The young Malaysian player looks like he's spent more time on his hair than in a pool room." LOL

I assume it's foul on all balls... standard for WPA and Matchroom events.
Score is 5-5 btw. Dunno how Malaysia could win 5 straight, but Korea is playing pretty poor. Which ever team gets through can have 1,000 to 1 to win the tourney.

Jeong miscues a shot that only needs 3/4 tip top inside and the Malaysian kid comes in with BIH and misses a roll through into the middle pocket by 2 inches. YIKES!!!
