Indeed. With the exception of some of the commentary, it was certainly one of the better matches I've ever seen. I might even watch it a second time.

Just watched the match, and I have to agree with the other posters in this thread.

This match was AWESOME

Definitely the BEST 9-ball match I have ever seen. Lots of safeties, kickshots, pressure and 4 of the best players in the world dogging shots all over, with 2,000 Filipinos going nuts in the crowd.

Pool at its best!!! The only bad thing about the match was that I knew the score and outcome from almost each rack. Still I was really excited of watching it

To those who says that Efren miss too much and that age has captured him, well, how about all those misses from Django, Ralf and Thorsten then? Are they too old also?

I hope we will be able to watch more of the great Efren for years to come. Galveston - look out for the Filipino invasion again!


EDIT: Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe Efren has only played in the World Cup of Pool twice, in 2006 and 2009, and won them both.

Efren and Bustie were in 2007 also but got knocked out in the quarters by China.
