The quarterfinal games will now be race to 9, and China on the hill (and breaking) against Indonesia, who can only muster 3 games so far...
 
It's Germany over France, 9 games to 7. They will play China in the semis tomorrow. Up next will be Chinese-Taipei vs. Poland, followed by the Philippines B vs. Finland match...
 
Thanks for the streaming links guys, watched a few matches just now. I really enjoy it, particular since the matches are on tight pockets. Really loose interest when they have pro's playing on new cloth AND big buckets where everything slides in.

The precision on display by most players in this event is amazing! I would probably rattle every third ball on this equipment :frown:

Taiwan over Poland, 9 games to 5. They will play winner of the Philippines B/Finland match, which is up next...
 
Philippine B team of Orcullo/Gomez is ahead 4 to 0 now against team Finland led my Mika Immonen. They seem like a different team compared to their first 2 matches earlier in the tournament. Should they win this match, it would set up a mouth watering match-up with TAIWAN tomorrow in the semifinals.

:thumbup:WOW!!! Philippines B just demolished Finland 9 to 1. Both Orcullo and Gomez looked like champions today. Finland was lucky to score 1 point the way these 2 played.

You would NOT want to miss the semifinals match between PHILIPPINES vs TAIWAN tomorrow.

The host was gracious enough not to "whitewash" Finland and their brodah from another momma, Mika. Philippines B 9. Finland 1...
 
:thumbup:WOW!!! That was one of the most exciting match-up I have ever seen. Never seen Orcullo that fired up. And Gomez also delivered. Hope they replay it soon so the ones who missed it can have a chance of watching this spectacular game.

Finals match between Philippines and China coming soon in an hour and 10 minutes from now (6 am US eastern).
