Again, they didn't show the break. Allison decides to push, and leaves a full look at the 3. She won't be getting this back. Jasmin decides to play a nice little safety. Allison plays a nice one rail kick safety. Jasmin is hooked and has to kick/jump. Jasmin hits the 3, but Allison can see the entire ball. Allison decides to play safe, leaving distance, but Jasmin can see the whole 3. She tries to play safe with the cue ball behind the 9, but doesn't get it. Allison can make the 3, but getting on the 4 might be a little troublesome. It proves to be really troublesome. She can see the whole 4, but can't make it directly. She plays a nice 2-way shot by trying to bank the 4 and maintain position on the 5 in case she makes it. She misses but leaves Jasmin safe behind the 7. Jasmin tries a kick shot using the bridge, but misses. BIH to Allison. If Allison makes the 5, she should get out. She makes the 5, and should be out. Goes a little too far on position on the 7 in the side. She tries to draw to the side cushion and out for the 8 in the corner, but gets REALLY bad on the 8 (the 8 is on the end rail). She has to play a safety. Woo... I thought my internet connection dropped for a second lol. Allison just leaves distance... Jasmin can see all of the 8. Jasmin shoots at the straight-back bank and MAKES IT. OMG... she misses a relatively easy cut on the 9 in the corner, but doesn't leave Allison that pretty. Allison thin slices the 9 back into the side.

Jasmin missed that nine cause she let the pressure of making the 2:1 bank to pocket the 8 get to her. Man was she kicking herself. Allie couldn't believe her luck on that one.

Jasmin ran to the 8 and missed the long bank. Allie cut in the 8 and got easy position on the 9.

Next game Allie just got 3 on the break! played safe.
Nice try for Jas, now allie has to beat the safe.No go, now Jas has easy 2.
Jasmin runs out. now 8-6 Allie.

Again, no show of the break. Jasmin should be out. She makes a nice cut on the 6, but gets out of line again on the 7. She decides to just cinch the ball, and leaves herself tough on the 8. She's really struggling and she's obviously frustrated. She goes for the straight-back bank on the 8 and misses it by a full two diamonds. Allison is out.

Once again, no show of the break. Allison is a little funky on the 2. She plays a very nice safe, leaving distance and the 2 behind the 8. I think Jasmin can see a little bit of the 2. She decides to kick behind the 2, leaving it up table, and the cue ball on the other side of the table behind the 9. Allison plays a 2 rail kick shot, but Jasmin can see and make the 2. She makes it. Bobbles the 3 a little, but it drops. She makes the 5 (I didn't think it was available). She should be out. She is.

Jasmin up to break. She slams the rack, makes the 8, and has a good look at the 1. If she makes this, she should be out, even though position from the 4 to the 5 is a little touchy. She gets very nice on the 5 and should be out. She is.

Allison up to break. Allison makes the 7 off the break, but has a tough shot on the 1. She makes a great cut and gets position on the 2. I think. She may have gone just too far and be just barely hindered by the 6. She keeps looking at it. She couldn't see enough of the 2 to make it, so she tries to play safe... doesn't get it. If Jasmin can make the 2 and gets on the 3, she'll get out. Same situation as Allison. She just barely couldn't see enough of the 2 to make it, so she tries to play safe, and doesn't get it. Allison can make the 2 in the corner. WOW... Allison over-cuts an easy shot on the 2 and scratches in the side. Jasmin should get out and tie the match. I think Jasmin has her confidence back. Allison is shaking her head... she can't believe she missed that 2. Jasmin ties the match.

Jasmin up to break. Two balls of the breaks and the cue ball gets KICKED INTO THE CORNER POCKET. Jasmin can't believe it. Allison should be out. Allison must be feeling the pressure... she gets bad on the 8. She misses the 8 into the corner, but Jasmin doesn't have a good shot at it, unless she goes for the straight-back bank. I missed what she did, but I guess she tried to play some sort of safety. She did okay, but I'll bet that Allison makes it. She does and gets nice on the 9. Allison makes it and wins!

Final Score: 9-8 Allison
 
Thanx for updates - tough loss for Ouschan after that comeback - she is playing good and will be tough in Ok
 
Yes! Yang is warming up right now. It looks like they're going to show the match. I'll be posting updates for this match as well.

Men's Final: Ralf Souquet vs Yang Ching-Shun

Yang wins the lag.
 
Yang up to break. He makes two balls (looks like the 1 and the 7). The 4 is keeping Yang from seeing the 2 completely. Yang tries to play a safe, but doesn't get there. Ralf has a thin cut on the 2 down the rail into the corner. He misses it pretty bad. He knew it right when he hit it. The 2 ties up with the 4, but Yang may be able to make it. The ref is going to have to watch the hit though if Yang goes for it. Yang makes the 2, but doesn't get on the 3. He's hooked behind the 8 and the 9. Yang tries to play a half-masse around the 8 and 9, but clips the 9... BIH to Souquet. Souquet should be out. He is.

The didn't show the break, but it looks like Ralf made a ball. He should get out. He'll either have to play a 5-7 combo or a 5-9 combo, unless he tries to get position for the 5 in the side. He's going to play the 5-7. He played it left-handed and made it. He's out.

Yang up to break. He makes the 1 and the 4 off the break, and again, doesn't have a shot at the 2. He can see it, but he can't make it, unless he goes for the straight-back bank. I think he tried to play a safe, but ended up making the 7 in the side. He makes an incredible 2-9 carom, making both the 2 and the 9 in opposite corner pockets.

Souquet scratches off the break. Everything is open... Yang should be out. He got a little out of position on the 2, but he got good on the 3. He's going to have to jack up over the 6 and the 7 in order to make the 4. He does it with no problem. He gets straight in on the 9 and makes it.
