These are junior players (18 & under). I don't think any of them are in college yet.

Well that answers my eligibility question... I suppose it's a shame I started shooting at 18? My kids are going to shoot before they can walk... haha!

Same deal here, I "signed up" but it won't accept my login.
Sorry for you, but I'm so glad it is just not me. those problems can be frustrating.

Sorry about the login problems. I fought with Ustream for hours this morning and finally gave up and went to justin.tv

Thank you for doing what it is that you do!
no worries.

I had no problem logging into Ustream or Justin.tv

When I originally set up account with Ustream I had to go to my email and link back to activate my account (first time only). That may have been a problem for first timers logging in.

Still, looks good.

This guy only plays like Chris Bartram's speed, or better. I think the Asians will sweep this one, and then stay on and win the Pro event.

Wonder why John Morra didn't enter. He's only 19. He would have a chance against the Chinese and Filipinos.

So does it mean Wu Chia-Ching and Wu Yu-Lun also can play in this tour?

neither of them are in this event. Wu Chia-Ching has basically been focused on pro events and Wu Yu-Lun is not eligible from this year on. so far Wu Yu-Lun is the most achieved player in the history of this event, having won the tiltle three years in a row and come in 2nd to Ko last year.

Nick "The Stick" Tafoya

Way to go Nick Tafoya; he just beat Landon Shuffett. Earlier he beat Austin Murphy and Billy Thorpe, and lost to Ko Pin-Yi.

Ko won the tournament.. 11-8 final against Banares. Great match I would say BAnares was a better shot maker and played better position but Ko had a better break and stronger safety play. In fact he won the match with a sick safety on the last rack with only three balls left. Ko was also more composed than Banares who rushed his shots at times.

results...

Ko wins it all!!!

The final match was between Banares vs Ko.

Banares was down 8-10 and had a crucial shot on the 6 ball to finish the rack and get closer. But rattled it.

Ko then pocketed the six ball and played a brilliant safe on the 7 ball hiding the cue ball next to the nine ball which was on the side rail.

With ball in hand it was tic tac toe for Ko.

Congrats to both Yi Pin Ko and Jericho Banares.

Ah! Fooey.......

I was pulling for Landon, well all is not lost. I think he has 5 more years an I'm hoping for a really good performance in the U S Open by then. Congrats Landon on competing an better luck next time.........

Please check my post #7. Is "I told you so" in order? :grin-square:
Good call Jay! I would have called the girls but I didn't want to put any pressure on one of my friends.

For a boy who took down world no 1 Dennis Ocullo with 11 straight racks and Dennis on the hill in the Bangkok Open.

This is probably a walk in the park for him.

Thank you! Wu Yu-Lun was also the youngest world champion in the WPC history (15 years old).
