World Pool Championships - Updates

Has not been working since few hours ago. I have been checking since 5 hours ago.
Was still working fine yesterday

Those matches weren't live. The live steam is not supposed to start until today, and they're running only a few minutes late.

Have some patience.

Okay, the live scoring has started.

Probably just announcing the matches and such now. I assume they'll be under way by half passed the hour.

Good and Bad News.....

Ok so which do you want first????

The live scoring has started now @ this link

Also..... I have found a working link for the tv channel that the WPC will be showing on "Eventually" it is here:
http://www.dish2net.com/?channel=Al Kass&stream=61

But....... I did a google translate here http://translate.google.ca/translate?hl=en&sl=ar&tl=en&u=http://www.alkass.net/

And it looks as though the pool won't be shown until 2:30 local time which would be 7:30 am est or 4:30 am pt AND it will only be shown for 1 match (2.5 hrs today)........

Well, i believe i found a live stream of the Al Kass sports network, which is supposed to be the channel to broadcast the WPC, but it is showing soccer. I could be missing something though.

watched the efren match that was recorded and the place looks like dump...but damn thats weak if it isnt on

It looks like meximan's research is legit. It looks like there will be only a small amount of pool (compared to what everyone expected) and in the early morning here. I guess i can get some sleep.

Good work Dave. I've updated the first post of the thread to include these findings. A shame we won't get to see much today. Hopefully they increase the coverage tomorrow.

(this first post will be updated periodically as scores are updated)

The group stages have concluded and resulted in countless upsets. The American contingent has suffered badly, losing Dominguez, Morris, and Deuel already. The Philippines however have 16 representatives in the final 64.

Live scoring for day 4 can be found here

Live streaming will begin on July 3rd at 2:30pm local time (7:30am EST or 4:30am PT) and can be found here:

Wow, 5 of the 6 Filipinos won their matches already in the first session with only Joven Alba bowing out to SVB. Charlie Williams is out leaving only SVB and Archer on the American team.
