World Pool Masters 2019

I wouldn’t want every pool tournament like this, with winner breaks + easy break rules, but I’m enjoying the format. It feels like anything can happen, anyone could run it out or come back from being down.

it has its pros and cons, i think with short races and single elimination it's a bit negative. sure it was nice to see kaci run a 4-pack on shaw, but we really didn't get to see what shaw had to offer this year

What the heck was the source of that? The commentators didn't say.

I don’t know, but occasionally there are what sound like large nearby airplanes flying by too, and I’m picturing Matchroom behind the scenes sending out distractions, like the Hunger Games.

Love this kid, and his happy go lucky attitude. Also the fact, all his success hasn't turned him into the whiny ass douche, that so many of them become.
He just plays pool, and takes his lumps along with his success with no complaints.
He seems to be really maturing and coming into his own. Steadily improving as well imo.
He just might be Americas next best thing.
I've been stone cold drunk with him, and he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, or a jealous one for that matter.
From bar box champ to a world beater.....? I hope so.
Get em Sky.

Some redemption from Kazakis for his poor showing in the Mosconi Cup. 8-1 Alex.

Finals

Alex Kazakis vs David Alcaide

Kazakis went on a roll there and made some sick shots. Maybe I don’t give him enough credit in my head because I’ve only seen a few matches but i didn’t think he would hold together so well.

Weird, they just announced that Johan will again be US coach, and that Shane and Sky are already picked for the team.

Should be an interesting finals....Kazakis made a lot of mistakes....
...and got away with them.
Alcaide played terrific
...they both won easily

I think Alex will play better in the finals
I don’t think David can play much better

If I’m standing at the betting windows over there....I might flip a coin

Yes, but very shortly after the Mosconi, Kazakis came third in the World 9-ball Championships, losing double hill in the semis to the champion Filler.

No real need for redemption here.

Thanks, just saw Alex 2 rail that niner ;)

Though he Facebook one still won’t work for me, I’m watching on YouTube
