Still all i get is a black screen that says"widestream offline". Adblocker on, pop-ups off. I click off the three x's that come-on but still no stream. Hitting "reconnect" does nothing. Something is blocking me from this. Oh well.

Run the crap cleaner and see if something in memory is blocking it:

Tried Chrome and it came thru. Sorta grainy but pretty good for free. I guess mozilla was blocking it. Thanx

Looks like he won a local qualifier. Kinda like letting a local club pro play in the Masters. This spot should have gone to another top player, IMO. Kinda makes event look phony.

They said he was basically a local league player, but English 8-ball or black ball or whatever. They had to "drag a 9 foot table out of storage for him to get practice on" is what they were saying before the start of the match. They also said he has a snooker background to, running 50s :sorry:

I can understand giving a local a qualifying spot, but not in an elite 16 man invitational.

Well, he'll snag a few quid and tell his buddies he got hammered by the Lion. Wish they'd asked Billy Thorpe to go. Kid is electric to watch.

Looks like it was all locals. I looked it up and couldn't name ONE player. And this is a world-class event? Were they afraid they couldn't sell seats without a local boy playing? Kinda like NASCAR calling up some local Saturday-night dirt tracker and saying" Hey, we got a spot open at the Daytona 500. Want to race?"
