Pro9 have made a ranking list based on the major tournaments the last 12 months.

I feel they should also have added atleast the World 14-1 Championship, and perhaps the Derby City Classic 9-ball. Ralf Souquet and Niels Feijen would probably still be on top of the ranking, but Francisco Bustamante would be higher on the list.

What you think about this list?

Top 10, according to Pro9:

1. Ralf Souquet
2. Niels Feijen
3. Daryl Peach
4. Shane Van Boening
5. Mika Immonen
6. Marcus Chamat
7. Darren Appleton
8. Ronato Alcano
9. Francisco Bustamante
10. Corey Deuel

Alcano and Bustamante is missing two of the 6 tournaments, Mika Immonen, Darren Appleton and Corey Deuel is missing 1. The rest of top 10 have played all the 6 tournaments.

The order is a bit arguable, but these are the elite. I'm not aware of what Chamat has accomplished recently, but perhaps I've overlooked something. The only player missing that I would have definitely expected to see in the top 10 is Johnny Archer. Efren's absence on the list is noteworthy, but perhaps understandable.

Marcus finished 3rd in both the World 8-ball Championship and the Predator 10-ball Championship. These are his 2 best finishes of the 6 tournaments, so guess they were worth a lot of points.

Thanks, Roy. I did, indeed, forget about Chamat's runnerup finish in the WTBC.
