I almost forgot i had taken these pics during the opening ceremony of the world ten ball championships, also starting of the qualifiers.

It was real treat and insight into a very warm philipino people and culture.

The Mecca of Pool

1) Did the ceremony have an religious purpose or was it all artistic? I'm curious if the Filipino's "bless" the ceremonies.

2) How does that rubberized floor impact play? In other words, is it OK on the feet during long sessions.

Hi,

1)I dont think there was any religious ceremony, it was a cultural ceremony.
2)I think the floor is quite nice, non slippery and is not hard on cues when u bump them.It is somewhere between carpet and tiled floor.

thanks for the cool pics. Unrelated to pool, I hafta say, it'd be great to have a couple of those ladies accompany me to the mall for Christmas shopping. Beats getting 5-6 gifts, taking them out to the vehicle, going back in, REPEAT... lol :grin:
