Worlds Finals Coming Up @ 5:30. Mika vs Ortmann

I've got to root for Ortmann.

Watching the raw emotion that came out of him when he beat Mizerak so long ago in the U.S. Open 14.1 and hung his head on the table, i have always rooted for him in 14.1 ever since. He is by far my favorite 14.1 player to watch.

In my opinion, for me that is, he was the leader of the invasion for the German/European contingent in 14.1, and the game has never been the same since.

Nothing against the proven record of Mika, but he brings too much drama along with him, to the point that it makes me want to root against him.

Oliver on the other hand, exemplifies pure class on and off the table.
I'd like to see him add another feather to his cap.

Agreed!!!

Oliver's persona is what the game is all about. Pure class both at your highs and lows.

I agree with your post 100% SuperStar.

Ortmann is my favorite European player. He is all class and is a fearless shotmaker. Like you, I've rooted for him since 1989.

Immonen is just about the only pro who I will always root against. In fact, he is the only pro who I don't like at all. Great player, diva-like personality.
Pouts and is a little too full of himself for my liking. Despite his massive arrogance, he is always a threat to win any 9 ball, 10 ball or 14.1 event.
Super talented.

I'll be so glad if Ortmann can pull this off. I been in and out all day so I couldn't watch the PPV. I appreciate all those who provided updates.

Thanks Jim, but I was at the hospital for more x-rays. 4 different Dr appointments in the next 7 days. I'm not allowed to ever return to my job, although the final paperwork has not been signed yet. Thanks for asking Jim! Hope you're well.

Now, back (no pun intended) to Oliver's great victory!

Truly amazing match, for the most part Oliver was flawless and never moved the cue ball more than he had to,never hit the ball hard and utilized the center ball more than not...Congratulations to both players but especially to Oliver!!!
