Worst part of pool w/ back pain

Nerve damage to spinal cord , Doc got me to walking with heavy doses of steroids , but left me with weak legs and numbness to lower body . I also have degenerative disc disease , and three ruptured disk's along with sciatica causing pain on both sides of the butt and down both legs instead of just one due to the nerve damage of the spinal cord .

Taking 8 Aleve per day has allowed me to play two league nights per week 8 and 9 ball with an hour of practice before hand . I suffer before , during , and after , but i like my pool .

Tangled with a drunk driver on the highway approx 2 1/2 yrs ago. I am due for 2 rods and 2 fusions. Plus, I have Meralgia Parasthetica in my right leg. That's due to the SI nerve/joint taking a blow from the lap belt.

Cortesone only worked once.

My nights can be limited, and when I push it, I have to use the table to hold myself up when walking around the table.

My game hasn't been the same. I don't know if that is the lack of mobility, playing time, discomfort to the point of not caring if I make a shot or not at times. Regardless, it is affecting the game itself. Maybe all of the above.

Still, it's fun to get out of the dungeon, have a decent cue in my hands and pretend that I can still play.

Plus, a few laughs with my Buds, cold ones, pizza and wings make it worth while too.

My goal was not to create a contest of who hurts worse.

I've had going on my 17th back surgery.
The scars on my spine have neuromas that are so painful, it makes sleeping without help impossible.

I have a pump with diluadid, I take percocet, I wear lidocaine patches, and I take another strong morphine derivative.

Any of those that aren't present make pain 9/10 of 10 and bring about tears.

So, I do understand. I do NOT try to belittle others pain, rather I sympathize with their situation.

Either you took my reply 180 degrees out of context of what I meant, or I did not write what I think I wrote.
Either way , I'm sorry you are having problems.
