I ordered a brand new It's George case just like that one except mine had a short and a long pocket on it with the same color and leather design and I paid $150 for it. I sold it to a friend and looking at the selling price of that case on ebay I wish I still had mine! I don't remember an It's George case selling for that much money. My case was also an original It's George before Brunswick bought them out.

I'm not an expert on George cases,but the fact that it was covered in an exotic genuine Eel skin may have been the reason. To my knowledge,Eel was the only exotic skin George used on their cases.

Its not real eel, its leather made to look like eel. They are great looking though.

I have one just like this and have been thinking of selling it, guess it may be a good time to put it on ebay and test the waters LOL.

i sold the same exact case this week for 200$ instantly. leather not eel.

mine was a real george not brunswick. runscott was the lucky winner.

i got about 10 pm's for it though

This proves I am no expert on George cases. I should have read the Auction description.
 
The case was mine. I was also suprised at the results. It was stated in the auction that the case was NOT genuine eel. The Engels I had was genuine Lizard. It only did $375.
 
i agree i have 4 or 5 like that put up in my office waiting for them to go up in price i guess they have

It's George did one in shark for sure. It's nice. One of my friends has it and will never sell it!

Real It's George

In case anyone is still looking for a real It's George (not Brunswick) case, I have 1 I will sell.

1 x 2 Black Eel Skin (don't know if it's real eel). No pocket, carry strap, or key. One small scratch which u will probably not c if I don't tell u. Except for that, outside like new. Slight blueing on the tops of the dividers where the previous owner failed to properly clean his tips. FREE shipping to the lower 48 is included in the price. $130.


Meucci Collectior's Edition case made by It's George. Medallion on top serial # 1774, dated 1994. These are very rare, and this one is new.
1 x 2 Dark Gray Ostrich Skin (don't know if it's real). One 12" pocket and carry strap. Heavy duty snap instead of flip lock. Aside from that, identical to It's George. I have the same case with the 20" pocket, I purchased mine from kchighendcues for 275 or something like that brand new
(he bought a whole stock of brand new cases, he has most all colors)

...they are great cases for sure, I went around the world from introke to justis and its george that wins hands down.
 
like jayman said, this was 2 bidders who got carried away. i doubt you'll see a price like this again anytime soon. congrats to the seller, lenoxmjs, for getting a reverse rip on e-bay.

I just received the case today - it's really nice. These 'Its George' cases vary a bit - the one Dave sold me has the thinner plastic top and bottom pieces (which I think is nicer). The strap has a different design, but works well. Thanks Dave.
