Nobody except you believes the game is going to outlive it's recent funding as anything other than a niche game.

Do you want to meet in one of the Flushing pool halls to meet some support people.

I hope you like eating Asian food. Some white people get bad skin reactions due to the MSG, it causes acne for a lot of girls.
How are your pyramid efforts going?

All talk again? Whodarhunk it?

Oh, another troll? I didn't know. Thought there was only one bot here...
justnumnuts has NO life. his only interaction with anything outside his mom's house is here. if we'd all just boycott his insane ramblings he MIGHT just drift. i now put him on perma-ignore. no more replies from me. i used to check his shit just for grins but his loony rambling is no longer entertainment.

That is your choice and I'd like to be clear:

You won't be donating to any of the projects or products he proposed and

Heyball is just 8ball.

Its likely going to be a reality dating show for players. Who wants to promote Chinese people that would never be picked for party leadership unless ...

Are you a strong force user or a force sensitive user?

Any game that is so slow that it has a time clock needs some rule changes. They could throw a billion at it and i don't think it would ever get all that popular. It will never fly in the U.S. Hell, people can't make balls on barboxes with buckets much less on 9ft tables with snooker pockets.
So basketball, football, hockey, boxing, mma, chess, olympic games, racing, swimming, etc. all need rule changes because they use a time clock???

Have you ever watched the game? They have a time-clock because its so damn slow. No way 8ball should take that long. I love pool and i've watched a fair bit of Chin8b and i'm standing by my story: its is not enjoyable to watch. Doesn't look much fun to play either. It will never be popular in the US i guarantee you that. Always be a Asian/Chinese niche game. Don't care how much $$ the WPA and their shills throws at it.

I feel like it has potential to be entertaining... but they don't market it well to anyone outside of people who are already interested in cue sports.
Here in China, the attitude to 'following' sport or a sports team is different from what I grew up with. But then so was attitudes I came across in America.

Your statement was about rule changes and having a time clock. I see what's so much different from watching 8-ball played on an american pool 9' table. If anything the snooker table adds a new dimension to the game.

You didn't address your original ridiculous statement, "Any game that is so slow that it has a time clock needs some rule changes." Again all of those sports but the Olympics that I previously listed have what are essentially countdown timers involved in regulating the time.

"No way 8ball should take so long." So you play at a level faster than the professionals?

Have you ever seen the game played??? Apparently not. If 'new dimension' means slow, dull, methodical pool then i guess you've found your game. The game is so slow that it can't be finished in a reasonable time frame thus the need for the stupid time limit. 140minutes to play a race to 13??? Gotta be kidding me. I've watched races-to-five 1p that went quicker. You'd think they'd be smart enough to just shorten the set. Guess not.

I tried to find a match that illustrates my point but its gone. Two guys were playing Ch8b and the score was something like 9-4 or 9-5 and they were approaching the time limit. The leading player went into TOTAL stall/slo-play mode and won on time limit. WTF????? Who wants to watch that shit????? Thank God i only saw the very end. Took 140min to play 13/14 games with the winner decided by the clock. Whatta a colossal joke. Pool should be won by outplaying not out-stalling the other player.

i've seen the same thing, an obvious flaw, the match can be totally gamed by the player in the lead (play slow, play safe). but race to 13 is nothing compared to the latest c8b world final, the one that ended some day ago, which was race to 40! this according to darren appleton. 400k first prize i think he said.

race to 41. that's insane. pretty sure the final was a two-day deal. second day: https://www.facebook.com/watch/live/?ref=watch_permalink&v=742654091101000 there is some hi-grade play i admit but the format/clock ruin it for me.

The shot clock in pro sports is to prevent inordinate amounts of time being spent with the sole intent of....burning time.

This is different than pool, as there is no set time for matches and one side cannot use the other's time.

Therefore, it isn't a 100 applicable comparison, imo.

On those tough ass tables a race to 7-9, maybe even 11, would be long enough. Without the stupid clock of course.
