It's Miss Ga-Young Kim vs Allison Fisher at 1PM and XTP Vs Vivian Villareal at 3 with the finals at 5!!

XTP is plaiying very well and im expecting to see her in the finals.
 
I've been watching Pan Xiao Ting in practice in Shanghai and she is playing the best I have seen her in the past couple years.

I believe Pan came of age at WPBA Peoria in 2006. Victory over Allison Fisher had narrowly eldued her at the BCA Open, as she blew a fairly routine runout at double hill. When the two met in Peoria with a TV spot riding on it, Pan. with magificent play, saw to it that the match wouldn't get away. A bad call and a freaky roll took her out of the televised semifinal against Kelly Fisher at Peoria, but she aveneged that loss today, eliminating Kelly Fisher.

There is every reason to believe that Pan is a serious contender for this title, although Allison is always the one to beat.
 
The single format still sucks. It all depends on WHEN you lose your first match. Vivian has lost one match and is still alive, but Lee, Nelson, and Corr only lost once and are out. Makes NO sense. Johnnyt

I agree completely. I thought this would be a novel format to have once a year, but to use it for every tournament makes no sense.

She looks as good as she ever has vs Viv- in her glitter top-She was leading 3-2 or so but not a smile or a frown thus far. Go XTP!!
 
Thanks for the updates Nostroke. Not to take anything away from Ga Young Kim or X Pan, I'm sure their playing lights-out, but I guess the Get Rid of Allision&Karen Format worked this time. Johnnyt
 
allison fisher gets beat

allison fisher got beat by kim today 7-2 she was doing so good from the begining but now she will have to start all over again in the next event:)

Congats to Ga Young Kim on her first of many to come WPBA tour wins. Congrats also to XPAN for a great tournament. Now change the format back a true double elim. Johnnyt
