I like Ga Young's game .haven't seen enough of X-pan yet..... I'am 20 miles away and not sure if I'll make it there ...............
 
My Diva ( Allison) is going to win.
Vivian will have a good showing because it is her home turf ( Seminole tribe sponsors Vivian in a big way).
 
With 12 matches reported only Ewa Laurance is a little bit of a surprise going to the one loss side. Johnnyt

I agree 100%. She showed very strong form at the BCA pro event. A similar effort might produce a title in Florida.
 
Jeanette lost 9-8 in the first round. She's played very well in Florida in the past. I just noticed that it's double elimination and not the final 16 format that has been around for a little while. Wasn't this actually the first tournament that used this format two years ago? I remember this is when Jenn and Melissa made the TV rounds (quarterfinals on were shown on TV).

I believe you are right about WPBA Florida being where this format was first used in WPBA play, but I believe it was during the 2004 WPBA Forida event.
 
I wonder if they have gone back to the true double elm. for good? If they have...that's a good thing. Johnnyt
 
I believe that Marina Lingurri should be in losers box A2 in brackets...not Cathy Metzinger. Johnnyt

Dawn and Sarah are hill hill

Winners on the one loss- Janet Atwell and Megan Minerich
other two matches still going...
 
Dawn Hopkins finally got the last game after a tense saftey battle, Sarah scratched on the 7 ball.
Anna just won on the 1 loss and Lias D'Arti is having a great tournament, defeating Maureen Seto and earlier Liz Ford.
