Wow! The San Diego Classic is hard on the players! Does anybody know if Ashton and Ranola got over whatever had them sick? What about Karen? Anybody got an update on her neck pain? I suspect Karen's pain meds may have worn off in the match with Pan. She seemed really up for playing Pan.

OF course "EVERYBODY" wants to know if Jeanette's recurring hangnail/stubbed toe is better. Hope if she pulls dat sh&t on Monica today that Monica walks over and stomps on JL's toe! (J/K)

I couldn't help but notice that towards the end of her match with Sarah, Jeanette had a close call with the cue ball which almost scratched, when it didn't she jumped up with glee and ran to the table to shoot.....her foot seemed fine then.

Iris had food poisoning the first night but seems to be ok now.

Pan had a huge lead on Corr. Corr fought her way back to almost get to 7 and then hung a 9.

I have significant disdain and distaste for posters who maliciously belittle players without real knowledge of the subject.

The physical ailments that Jeanette Lee has had are so numerous, severe, and serious that any true sportsman or pool fan should find it amazing that she can even play at all, much less at a high level.

After at least EIGHT serious back surgeries and with the resulting CONSTANT significant pain, I would be surprised if the above posters could even use their keyboards, much less play at her level. At least for the last 8 years, you have not seen her play WITHOUT pain. If the pool situation calls for "jumping with joy", then I ASSURE you she will jump for joy despite any pain it might cause, because she LOVES THE GAME (more than you guys do), and is not afraid of pain. People that are afraid of pain should not try to walk in her shoes. 'Nough said.

Willie, I DO KNOW ALL ABOUT JEANETTE's ailments.
She didn't have anything wrong with her. She had a bad game and Sarah was in a position to make a run on her. She started hobbling and moaning around and had Mark Wilson rack for her.As soon as Sarah missed though she was perfectly fine.At the end of the match she was damn near doing cartwheels. She was faking."Everybody" watching the stream knew it, including Allison! Jeanette's a card and I love her ta death but that one was silly!:grin:

I'm well aware of her back pain...this wasn't about her back. There was nothing wrong with her foot, she was being a drama queen. I remember her when she was a young kid in NYC, she was a drama queen then, and hasn't changed.

Wow! I wish I would have seen that match. Maybe it will turn up on Youtube (wish). I loved the chance to watch the early matches on the web. It would have helped if they could have had more than one camera or one that was not fixed position. A little drama would have been nice.
