He is a good guy, smart- knows everyone but the WPBA has hired management companies, various hotshots-e.g Lina Chan was it? she had contacts up the wazoo-had gotten Tennis Players million dollar deals and most unbelievably of all- found sponsors for the biggest personality dud on the WPBA!. She and the mgt company accomplished NOTHING although im sure they tried.
It's just been downhill since the WPBA pulled out of the Amsterdam tournament and Valley Forge. Not saying that was a cause but the WPBA had their time. They had their time despite themselves not because of themselves and they never knew it.
They will need a miracle and it will be YEARS-at least 5-8 if ever, before they get back to 1/2 their former glory. Wrong time-wrong game. They have other problems too that no one will ever talk about. Good luck Rich and call Steinway while the iron is hot.
