Wpba Payouts

I can't beleive payouts are not posted anywhere. They must have really sucked this year.

The US Open and the Nat'ls used to pay 15/16K and the remainder 12.5 for first I BELIEVE-could be slightly off. The BCA might be 15 also-not sure.

I've looked all over and can't find the payouts. Can anyone help?

Except for those considering trying to get on the tour, I guess I don't see what difference the payouts make or what business it is of the general public.

What I care about is watching championship level pool being played and the drama of top rank events.

Many people and players for that matter, get more excited about the Ryder Cup in golf than most of the so-called "majors."

And BTW, are you a pimp? And if so, do you disclose what your girls (or boys) charge? Just curious.

There is nothing wrong with asklng how much the purse and payouts are for tours. Almost every tour makes them public without having to call a dentist. Johnnyt

ditto, It is our business. I pay to watch, I want to know what kind of money is being won.

Of course, nothing wrong with asking. Personally, I just don't see the point but different strokes for different folks.

But if we're talking about pet peeves, what bothers me more than non-disclosure of payouts is the so-called $25 or $50k events that are winner take all which means that the total payout is FAR LESS than what would be paid out to the field.

So, the promoters hype the payout for people who care about such things while the field gets screwed.

Jim

If you are talking about Mohegan Sun, the Players all get $3K in show-up money or maybe more now with higher Airline ticket prices. Without that you are not getting JL Chang from Taiwan to take a flyer. He is listed for next weeks event. Lets see how he plays in America. Chao has done well here even though he doesnt really enjoy it from what i heard.
