WPBA, Shanelle and other Pool News

The pictures on the WPBA website were great with the green backdrops. The ladies looked comfortable and natural. Now they look like distorted yearbook picture crap (in the grey backdrops). Why the change?

Right! And while I do love a good blog...people who write them should really try to get their facts straights. Of the 3 blogs I read...there were at least 5 statements that were wrong.

BTW..I"m glad to have my J-Bar back!

Melissa, tell me what I got wrong and I'll be happy to correct. I stopped trying to check information with the WPBA since the person (people) that handle PR for the WPBA don't ever respond to my inquiries or fact checks. I wouldn't consider my blog newsworthy, but I do like to try to be at least semi-accurate. ;)

She's been playing a little in the Amsterdam Billiards BCA League, rated as an A+. She's maintained a winning record, and seems to be shooting pretty well. My teammate (rated a C+) played her last night and lost; she gave him 4 on 9.

Now that's good news! BTW, Loree Jon Hasson? There was a rumor about a year or two ago that she was on the outs with her now then husband and folks said it wasn't true. Looks like it turned out to be true. Well whatever, as long as she's happy.
 
I am not sure what is going on with these photos but there seems to be some serious distortion in some or them. I think it might be a problem with how they were sized or uploaded? Very strange, I have never seen that before. I think they need to pulled off and resized. The wpba webmaster should be able to do this...

Re Loree Jon, is she back on the tour? I did not see her on player list?
