WPBA U.S. Open

I notice Tiffany Nelson and Jennifer Chen don't seem to be playing this year. Did they lose their exemption? I think I saw Nelson on the stream from the satellite event a few weeks back, but didn't see either at Michigan City.

Tiff has a shoulder injury that has prevented her from playing. No idea about Jennifer Chen...

She has a tough first round draw. Young Briana Miller took down about half the contenders at the Borderline Billiards event and just finished up the girls Junior championships. Line best not underestimate her because of her age. ;)

Line never seem to underestimate anyone while competing, except when playing me :p

So, would you like a small bet on the match, though? Like $ 10?
 
Nah no bets. Line is always one of my favorites in any competition. She just better not look beyond her match with Briana or she might have to do most of her playing from the wrong side of the brackets.

Boy, Kim Jones had a tough draw with Karn Corr in the opening round.

Joanne and Christine won their first matches. Im cheering for them to do well.
 
I'll be rooting for Allison Fisher. By the way, why isn't this going to be starting on TV until Sep 13th???
 
It has become impossible to pick someone to make the 4th or 5th now (and that's a good thing) much less pick the winner with the talent on tour now. Most are grossly under paid. But that's just pool. Maybe some day the mainstream public will get it . It ain't easy to be at the top in pool, just like any other sport. Johnnyt

Well lets hope they wake up because they both went down in the 2nd round - Line losing 9-1 (yipes!!!) - Jasmin ( 9 -3 ) - WTF ????

Maybe they have food poisoning. Something not right there. I could see one losing 1st round but the two of them...something not right. Johnnyt
