This match is getting good! Fair play to Kaplan, he's playing some good shots under pressure here.
 
Drago takes it 9-4- it was a better match than the score suggests- Kaplan came on strong in the end.

Definitely. I bet he's kicking himself after that poor positional shot off the 8 in the penultimate rack. That could've made a huge difference if he'd won that one.

This is turning into a great Friday night/Saturday morning! I'm not looking forward to Saturday afternoon though (assuming I wake up to see any of it!)

Fleece, I have no idea. I just know I'm going to be asleep until the afternoon! I just try to see what I can when the computer is available, late nights work best for me there.
 
Live coverage starts at 9:30am on Sunday here in Thailand, which would mean 9:30pm Saturday night in NY (daylight savings time starts this week-end, right? If so, I'm 12 hours ahead of you.)

JAM, I haven't seen any US players tonight. They did give an update of all the groups earlier but my PC chose that moment to die yet again. So I have no idea who else is playing apart from the televised games. Sorry.
 
It sounded weird when it hit (both times)- you know the officials are gonna be checking it out right after this match (Efren is up 5-2).

I'm sure they will. Wasn't there something earlier about a problem with a pocket during Drago's match?
