i would like know the depth of the groove for linen wrap?

I usually cut the wrap groove to about .046 on the front and .048 on back for irish linen. It's a good idea to measure the thickness of irish linen and double for wrap groove cut. I always start on the front and get the front alittle tighter than the back and this gives .002 difference.

.040 before epoxy and clear coat.

That makes it 20 to 25 thou on each side. When measured together you get the 40 to 50 thou.

Shallow...

Remember to go a little shallow on the groove. Easier to take some off than to try to add some...
