i wanna install a leather wrap into my cue..
reason why beacuse my liner is kinda gone bad .
2 things i wanna know

wat type of glue i should get for the wrap ?
also..is there's anyway i can do to make it better ?

Well, installing a wrap is not all that simple. I get the impression you would try this you're self? In case you need a roll press.

On normal leather wrap contact cement could be used. I have found a local brand of glue which requires only application on one of the surfaces, but normally you need to apply on both sides.

I'm not sure what you are asking about when it comes to make it better, but if you are in doubt go to a cuebuilder and have it done properly.

Do you have a leather wrap fixture to install leather wraps ?

I'll second that. Leather wraps are very tricky. If you want it done right, give the job to someone experienced like a CM or Kenny Koo (Flyingsnail.) If not, here is a kit and a video that might interest you.
Good luck.

I can understand that  .
I think that many of the cue makers you see around here started for those same reasons.

I think a leather wrap would be a bit easier for you to install than a linen one if you do not have a lathe to spin the cue in.
With linen you could wind it on by hand but it must be pressed down with friction and heat.
That takes a lathe or something like it to spin the cue.

With leather the two critical steps are getting the wrap grove depth right and cutting the seam straight and true.
Leather will stretch a bit but only so far.
Cutting the leather, gluing it on, and trimming the seam is something you might be able to do yourself but with out a lathe you can not get the wrap grove to the right depth. However, If your cue has a leather wrap on it now and you do not need to adjust the wrap grove depth, you might have a chance.

There are some good CD's out there showing all the steps and the tools used. You might be able to borrow one from someone here to see how it is done. Ask!
